About my current job
My research focusses on the neural basis of semantic cognition. We are interested in the networks that support the flexible retrieval of knowledge, depending on our goals or the context. I also teach on our Brain and Behaviour strand.
Something important I learned during my time at EP
I learned about neural representation and the topographical organisation of cortex, which still drive much of my research today.
Fond memories of my time at EP
I loved studying in the library on the coldest days. It was always very warm, and one wall was filled with a huge picture of a sunny woodland.
Do you have a lesson or advice that you'd give to current students/researchers at EP?
Strength comes from diversity. Be open to new perspectives, methods and ways of working, even when it feels challenging.
